In some instances a traditional CCTV head is an advantage over a modern PTZ dome design, as it stays drier in very wet conditions especially with the addition of a wiper.

The PTZ800 series is aimed at being a true alternative to a modern PTZ dome for mission critical installs with its near speed-dome performance and features.

With a rotational speed of up to 100°/second and tilt at 30°/second in response to a preset or an alarm input it doesn't miss a thing.
